RRC requires a Vendor to supply it with an IT Enablement Roadmap that will position the College to achieve its strategic and business objectives through integrated information and technology systems and structures in support of an ever-evolving organization that is:
 

1. Focused on the user experience (for students, staff and faculty),
2. Responsive to the needs of its industry partners (i.e., through the delivery of academic programs and goals related to academic transformation);
3. Secure and efficient, adopting best practices in cloud computing and automated technologies allowing human and financial resources to be deployed strategically;
4. Comprised of digital environments for recruitment, admission, registration, financial transactions, fundraising, learning and teaching, etc.;
5. Open and transparent, with secure and consistent practices for collecting, leveraging, reporting and analyzing a variety of types and sources of data made available in real time to support decision making and strategic initiatives,
6. Considerate of the need for the security and retention of College information, as well as incorporating legislative requirements for protection of privacy and ensuring accessibility;
7. Designed to ensure all required systems support high availability and scalability using sustainable methods.
8. Innovative in teaching and learning.

• A summary and analysis of the College’s current state (high-level documentation to be provided by the College to the Successful Vendor shortly after contract award);
• A summary of current and future business needs – through Vendor-lead stakeholder consultations;
• An Enterprise Service Strategy that enables RRC to meet its current and future business needs in alignment with its strategic objectives;
• A service enablement road map (including frameworks, prirotized gaps, etc.) with recommendation on staging and quick wins.
