Description

SECTION I - Boissevain, Pedestrian Corridor at Provincial Trunk Highway (PTH) 10 and Buckingham St.

Underground work:

  • Installation of concrete bases, electrical conduits, and new cabling.
Aboveground work:
  • Transport material from 8385 Wilkes to field location
  • Transport poles from 1550 Dublin to field location
  • Stand new steel poles, install new corridor heads (some assembly required), install new Guardian APS buttons, install new PXO controller, and install new electrical service.

After the corridor has been transitioned to the new corridor, demolition, and disposal of:
  • End of Service Life Pedestrian Corridor plant.

SECTION II - Virden, Pedestrian Corridor at King St. and 3rd Ave

Underground work:
  • Installation of concrete bases, electrical conduits, and new cabling.
Aboveground work:
  • Transport material from 8385 Wilkes to field location
  • Transport poles from 1550 Dublin to field location
  • Stand new steel poles, install new corridor heads (some assembly required), install new Guardian APS buttons, install new PXO controller, and install new electrical service.

After the corridor has been transitioned to the new corridor, demolition, and disposal of:

SECTION III – Altona, Pedestrian Corridor at Provincial Road (PR) 201 and 4th St SW

Underground work:
  • Installation of concrete bases, electrical conduits, and new cabling.
Aboveground work:
  • Transport material from 8385 Wilkes to field location
  • Transport poles from 1550 Dublin to field location
  • Stand new steel poles, install new corridor heads (some assembly required), install new Guardian APS buttons, install new PXO controller, and install new electrical service.

After the corridor has been transitioned to the new corridor, demolition, and disposal of:
  • End of Service Life Pedestrian Corridor plant.
