DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
Manitoba Hydro is issuing this Request to seek the submission of competitive Proposals for Hazardous Material Abatement, Remediation and Disposal Services. The required Services are to be carried out at various Manitoba Hydro locations, on an as-required basis, for a term of three (3) years. Proponents must be able to perform all Services (all categories of hazards) contemplated in this Request.
The following hazard categories comprise the scope of this Request:
(a) Category 1 – Lead and Heavy Metals
(b) Category 2 – Asbestos, Refractory Ceramic Fibres (RCF) and Mould
(c) Category 3 – Other Hazards

MANDATORY CRITERIA:
All proposals must meet all of the following criteria, in Manitoba Hydro’s determination, in order to proceed to the second stage of the evaluation process:
a) Safety Questionnaire results indicating a safety program and record acceptable to Manitoba Hydro. (Refer to Proposal Form 02 – Safety Questionnaire.)
b) Evidence of Hazardous Materials Remediation/Abatement and Disposal Training and Certifications deemed satisfactory by Manitoba Hydro. (Refer to Proposal Form 03 – Training, and Subsection 6.4 Training and Certifications.)
