This tender is a public tender open to all interested bidders.
Manitoba Housing requires the services of a contractor to perform a building ventilation, fire alarm and common area renovation in Birtle, MB. Please note the crawlspace is considered a confined space and anyone entering that space must be certified in confined space entry. The work also includes Patch and paint lounge, foyers, common area bathrooms, laundry rooms, mechanical rooms and Removal and replacement of all common area flooring.
Approximate budget for the project is between $100,000 and $500,000.
An optional site visit for the bidders is scheduled for January 31, 2018 at 11:00 A.M CST. Bidders are to meet at 122 Centre St, Mirtle Manor, Birtle MB prior to 11:00 A.M CST. to sign the site attendance sheet.
Deadline for questions for is February 15, 2018. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at kristen.schultz@gov.mb.ca.
Deadline for "Requests for Equals" is 10 days before the submission deadline of the Bid Submission. Anyone wishing to submit a request for equal must complete the form on the website www.gov.mb.ca/housing/mh/business/procurement.html and submit to the project manager at dale.fries@gov.mb.ca. The form must be completed in its entirety or may be rejected.

The complex will be occupied during construction.
