This bid opportunity is open to all interested suppliers. This is Part One - Prequalification of a two part Request for Tender (RFT). Only Bidders who meet the requirements of Part One will be invited to participate in Part Two - Bid Submission.
The Government of Manitoba as represented by Manitoba Central Services – Capital Projects Planning & Delivery acting on behalf of Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation requires the services of a contractor to perform structural repairs to 5 storey 40 unit high rise apartment building.
The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to construction of a new concrete secant pile retaining wall complete with rough sawn timber facing, vibration monitoring, new concrete wall retaining walls and stairs, new exterior concrete staircase, bonded concrete topping on existing front entrance concrete slab, brick/stone planter repointing, asphalt repairs to suit new Works, new exit door, specialty cleaning of an existing refuse room, specialty cleaning and decommissioning of and existing multi-storey refuse vertical chute. The Work also consists generally of a new exterior refuse area, new exterior parking lot galvanized steel posts and channels, new parking lot electrical, and parking lot line painting and precast curbs. Selective demolition of existing items to suit new works.
Work site location will be occupied during construction.

Deadline for "Requests for Equals" is 10 days before the submission deadline of Part Two – Bid Submission. Anyone wishing to submit a request for equal must complete the form on the website www.gov.mb.ca/housing/mh/business/procurement.html and submit to the project manager at Orlando.perez@gov.mb.ca. The form must be completed its entirety or may be rejected.
Bid submission deadline for Part One - Prequalification is July 6, 2020 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an e-bid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the e-bid requirements.
