Description

This bid opportunity is open to all interested suppliers. This is Part One of a Two Part Tender. Part One consists of a prequalification. Only bidders who qualify in Part One will be invited to participate in Part Two Bid Submission.
Manitoba Housing requires the services of a General Contractor for site upgrades to a 125 unit townhouse complex. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, upgraded site lighting, regrading of the site, new parking lots and side walks, new steps on the units, and stucco painting.
NOTE: Some of the specifications and drawings included with this RFT may not be applicable. Refer to Addendum #1 for further instruction. Work not included in this RFT includes exterior wall upgrades, roof replacement, overhangs/canopies, and playground.
Approximate budget for the project is between $1M and $5M.
A mandatory site visit is scheduled for October 12, 2017 at 1:30 P.M. Central Time.
Deadline for questions is October 19, 2017. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at nicole.doherty@gov.mb.ca.
Deadline for "Requests for Equals" is 10 days before the submission deadline of Part Two. Anyone wishing to submit a request for equal must complete the form on the website www.gov.mb.ca/housing/mh/business/procurement.html and submit to the project manager at brian.stoesz@gov.mb.ca. The form must be completed in its entirety or may be rejected.
Part One Prequalification submission deadline is October 26, 2017 at 2:00:00 P.M. Central Time. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender.
Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the ebid requirements. Make sure you obtain your PIN number from MERX well in advance of the deadline in order to upload your tender submission.
