Description

This bid opportunity is open to all interested suppliers.
Manitoba Housing requires the services of a General Contractor to perform site, interior and exterior refresh on three single family homes and one duplex.
The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of windows, flooring, interior and exterior doors, siding, steps, landings & decks, roofing and raingear, kitchen cabinets, countertops and bathroom vanities; driveway resurfacing; electrical, crawlspace, and plumbing upgrades; asbestos abatement; patch and paint,; servicing of furnaces and HRV systems; and site work. Two units will be occupied and two will be vacant during construction.
An optional site visit is scheduled for October 8, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. Central Daylight Time (CDT). Bidders are to meet at the main entrance.
Deadline for questions is October 14, 2020. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at el.delacruz@gov.mb.ca.
Deadline for "Requests for Equals" is 10 days before the submission deadline. Anyone wishing to submit a request for equal must complete the form on the website www.gov.mb.ca/housing/mh/business/procurement.html
and submit to the project manager at Andres.aguirre@gov.mb.ca. The form must be completed in its entirety or may be rejected.
Bid submission deadline is October 21, 2020 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an e-bid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the e-bid requirements.
