Description

This is a public Request for Tender open to all Bidders. Manitoba Housing requires the services of a contractor to perform sewer pipe replacement in the basement of an 8 storey apartment building.
The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing above grade cast-iron pipe, replacement with plastic pipe and connection to existing cast-iron drains.
An optional site visit is scheduled for May 21, 2020. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, gatherings of more than 10 people will not be permitted. As a result, the following will be implemented for the optional site visit:

The first 6 people to respond will be scheduled to visit the site at 10:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT)
The second 6 people to respond will be scheduled to visit the site at 11:00 a.m. CDT
Suppliers who wish to attend the site visit must pre-register with the Contract Administrator via email at nicole.doherty@gov.mb.ca prior to the end of the business day on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
If someone attends the optional site visit without pre-registering, they will only be accepted if there are less than 10 people present. Otherwise, you will be asked to attend at a later time.

If Bidders are not available to attend the scheduled site visit but still wish to view the site, an appointment may be arranged by contacting the Project Manager, Carlito Morada, at 204-232-6075. Manitoba Housing provides 48 hours notice prior to entering a building. All Bidders requesting to view the building must allow Manitoba Housing time to provide notice to the tenants.

Deadline for inquiries and requests for clarifications related to this RFT is May 26, 2020 and must be sent to the Contract Administrator at nicole.doherty@gov.mb.ca.
Bid submission deadline is June 4, 2020 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the ebid requirements.
