2017-29A-T-87138 - Exterior Refresh, Mechanical Upgrades, Site Work

This is Part One of a Two Part Tender process. It is a  public tender open to all Bidders. Part One is a Prequalification. Only bidders who reach the passing threshold will be invited to participate in Part Two Bid Submission.
Any resulting contract will be CCDC2 (2008) Stipulated Price Contract as amended by Manitoba Housing Supplemental Conditions.
Approximate budget for the project is between $1M and $5M.
Manitoba Housing requires the services of a General Contractor for an exterior retrofit of a 4 story townhouse/apartment building with 40 units located at 1041 Autumnwood Dr., Winnipeg, MB. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of windows, exterior doors, parking lots, and shed, new bathroom in caretaker’s office, repairs to masonry and balconies, mechanical upgrades including ventilation, and site work.
Work site location will be occupied during construction.
A mandatory site visit is scheduled for July 26, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. Central Time.
Deadline for questions for Part One is August 3, 2017. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at nicole.doherty@gov.mb.ca.
Deadline for "Requests for Equals" is 10 days before the submission deadline in Part Two. Anyone wishing to submit a request for equal must complete the form on the website www.gov.mb.ca/housing/mh/business/procurement.html and submit to the project manager at maryanne.tocker@gov.mb.ca. The form must be completed in its entirety or may be rejected.
Bid submission deadline for Part One is August 9, 2017 at 2:00:00 P.M. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender.
