Description

This bid opportunity is open to all interested suppliers.
Manitoba Housing requires the services of a General Contractor to perform exterior refresh & asbestos abatement on one unit of a two storey townhome.

The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to remove and replace windows, doors, roofing, soffit, raingear and fascia, exterior wall finishes; increase wall insulation; and type 3 asbestos remediation on stucco and parging.
Work site location will be occupied during construction.

An optional site visit is scheduled for December 9, 2020 Bidders who wish to attend the site visit must pre-register with the Contract Administrator via email at el.delacruz@gov.mb.ca prior to noon of December 8, 2020. When pre-registering, provide the name of the individual attending the site visit along with their email and telephone contact information. Bidders are to meet at 210 Brandon St., Thompson, MB.

The attendance sheet will not be passed around for signing. Attendance sheets will be prefilled based on pre-registration. Your attendance will be checked off and confirmed by the Project Manager. Deadline for questions is December 16, 2020.
All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at el.delacruz@gov.mb.ca.

Deadline for "Requests for Equals" is 10 days before the submission deadline. Anyone wishing to submit a request for equal must complete the form on the website www.gov.mb.ca/housing/mh/business/procurement.html and submit to the project manager at gazi.rahman@gov.mb.ca. The form must be completed in its entirety or may be rejected.

Bid submission deadline is December 23, 2020 at 2:00:00 P.M. CST. This is an e-bid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the e-bid requirements.
