This bid opportunity is open to all interested suppliers.

Manitoba Housing requires the services of a mechanical ventilation contractor to supply and install a complete centralized Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) / Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) system in a 5-storey high rise building. The building is comprised of 40 tenant units, utility rooms and common areas. The Scope of Work includes but not limited to the demolition of existing HRV and associated air conditioning condensing unit and installation of a new centralized ERV system, condensing unit, and associated ductwork; replacement of exhaust air grilles, fire dampers in the suites and common areas; installation of a new chimney liner serving the gas-fired hot water boiler from the mechanical room in the basement to the roof-top; re-wiring and relocation of electrical panels boards including new controls to perform sequence of operation to the new ERV system; construction of concrete structural pads outside the building suitable to install the specified mechanical equipment with complete chain link fence and accessories. The work site will be occupied during the project.

A mandatory site visit is scheduled for October 17, 2019 at 10:00 A.M CDT.
Deadline for questions is, October 23, 2019. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at Sunshine.Gonzales@gov.mb.ca.
Deadline for "Requests for Equals" is 10 days before the submission deadline. Anyone wishing to submit a request for equal must complete the form on the website www.gov.mb.ca/housing/mh/business/procurement.html and submit to the project manager at Orlando.Perez@gov.mb.ca. The form must be completed in its entirety or may be rejected.

Bid submission deadline is November 6, 2019 at 2:00:00 P.M CST. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender.
