Background of the Annual Notice and Pricing Refresh Process
The 2021 ITQ NWP2021-001 (“Original ITQ”) involved a joint procurement of vehicles for the Provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan.
The purpose of the ITQ is to allow for the consolidation of vehicle requirements and to allow Manufacturers to submit one set of prices that would apply to all Provinces.
The process identified in the Original ITQ, including the Annual Notice and Pricing Refresh will be in place until September 30, 2026.
ITQ NWP2021-002 is the first Annual Notice and Pricing Refresh and incorporates the terms and conditions of the Original ITQ NWP2021-001 unless specifically stated herein.
ITQ NWP2021-002 allows Manufacturers who were unable to submit a Bid to the Original ITQ, or who were deemed non-compliant, to submit pricing and Vehicle Models. Compliant Manufacturers who received an Award for the Original ITQ are also provided with the opportunity to update previously submitted pricing and provide new Vehicle Model options available.
Any Award(s) that Compliant Manufacturers may have received previously will be amended to reflect the updated information.
In Alberta, and Manitoba new Manufacturers may be awarded a contract as a result of the Annual Notice and Pricing Refresh posted if they submit compliant Bids or new Vehicle Models may be added to the contracts of existing Manufacturers.
In British Columbia, and Saskatchewan the Annual Notice and Pricing Refresh process may result in a change of the primary Manufacturer designation for each Vehicle Specification.
