Description

The Government of Manitoba requires Ammunition, Shotgun Shells, as part of Agriculture and Resource Development’s Hunting Heritage program; mentored hunts are offered in order to recruit new hunters to waterfowl hunting. As part of the Department’s commitment to this important program, shotgun shells have been purchased and supplied for use during these hunts since the inception of the program in 2000. These mentored hunts are the major cornerstone for hunter recruitment in Manitoba and other jurisdictions. Studies have shown that over 80% of participants from these programs continue to buy hunting licences and hunting equipment, as well as introduce other friends to hunting.
