D2. SCOPE OF WORK

D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the removal of the existing tar
and gravel roofs and replace with a new 2 ply Modified Bitumen roof system. The work will include
all required mechanical and metal works as specified.

B3. SITE INVESTIGATION

B3.1 Further to C3.1, the Contract Administrator or an authorized representative will be
available at the Site at 10am on February 24, 2023 to provide Bidders access to the Site.

B3.2 The Bidder is advised that entrance to the site will be from the gate located on King
St just north of the intersection of King and Dufferin.

B3.3 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received
at the Site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct
observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.

B3.4 The Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done
and all conditions that might affect their Bid or their performance of the Work, and shall assume
all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have been or could have
been determined through such inspection.
