Description

D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of replacing the light fixtures over the pool
tank.
D2.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Remove and dispose of existing ceiling mounted light fixtures
(b) Install new light fixtures, including new conduit, cabling and controls
(i) Fixtures to be supplied by City of Winnipeg
(c) Replace light switches and cover plates used to control fixtures
D2.3 All Work to be completed while the pool tank is full of water.
D2.4 All Work to be completed during normal working hours, as the facility will be closed to the
public.
D2.5 With the exception of the specific materials noted in D2.5.1, Work shall include all labour,
material, equipment and services required for the project to be complete and functional.
D2.5.1 City of Winnipeg shall supply the following materials for the project:
(a) Single head fixtures: Ametrix ASYX-SP-L6-NT-U-F-L35-1-UNV-W-C-48-STD,
quantity = 16
(b) Dual head fixtures: Ametrix ASYX-DP-L6-NT-U-F-L35-1-UNV-W-C-48-STD, quantity
= 4
D2.6 Contractor shall arrange and pay for all necessary permits and inspections, and obtain all
necessary approvals of the installation and operation. On completion of Work, submit
Certificates of Acceptance from the Authority Having Jurisdiction(s) to the Contract
Administrator.

B3.1 Further to C3.1, the Contract Administrator or an authorized representative will be available at
the Site at 10:00 a.m. on March 17, 2021 to provide Bidders access to the Site.
B3.2 COVID Information: The Bidder is advised that face masks must be worn at all times
while inside the building. As group size will be restricted, please contact the Contract
Administrator by 2:00 p.m. on March 16, 2021 to register to attend the Site Investigation.
B3.3 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received at the Site
investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct observation, or is
provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.
