B3. SITE INVESTIGATION
B3.1 The Consulting Contract Administrator or an authorized representative will conduct a
site investigation tour of the Perimeter Road Pumping station located at 6821 Wilkes Avenue on the
following dates:
(a) April 12, 2023, beginning at 1:30 P.M.
(b) April 13, 2023, beginning at 9:00 A.M.
(c) Proponents are required to bring their own PPE (safety vest, boots, hard hat, safety glasses
and gloves) to the Site Investigation. Proponents without appropriate PPE will not be allowed
access inside the Station.
B3.1.1 Proponents are requested to register and notify if unable to attend for the site
investigation by contacting the Consulting Contract Administrator identified in D2.
B3.2 Attendance at one (1) of the Site Investigations is mandatory. Should a Proponents
representative not attend at least one (1) of the site investigations, the Proponents Proposal will
be determined to be non-responsive and will not be further evaluated.
B3.3 The Proponent shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation
received at the site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Proponent’s
direct observation, or is provided by the Consulting Contract Administrator in writing.
B3.4 The Proponent is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done
and all conditions that might affect their Proposal or their performance of the Work, and shall
assume all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have been or
could have been determined through such inspection
