D2. SCOPE OF WORK

D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the supply and installation of
a new 2ply modified bitumen roof system, including all required mechanical works and flashing
metals as specified.

D2.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Roof replacement A1 – Drawing R1.
(b) Roof replacement B1 – Drawing R1.

B3. SITE INVESTIGATION

B3.1 Further to C3.1, a Site meeting will be held at 9:00AM on April 3rd, 2023 to provide
Bidders access to the Site.

B3.2 The Bidder is advised that there is some masonry repair along the top course that needs
to be done simultaneously with the roof work. It is not part of this contract and will be
coordinated by the Contract Administrator.

B3.3 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received
at the Site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct
observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.

B3.4 The Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done
and all conditions that might affect their Bid or their performance of the Work, and shall assume
all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have been or could have
been determined through such inspection.
