B3. SITE INVESTIGATION
B3.1 Further to C3.1, the Contract Administrator or an authorized representative will be
available at the Site at 9:00 am on March 16, 2023 to provide Bidders access to the Site.
B3.1.1 The address of Bannatyne Flood Pumping Station is 20 Ship Street.
B3.2 The Bidder is advised that they will be required to provide their own personal
protective equipment including CSA approved safety footwear, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.
Access into the wetwell will only be permitted if the Contractor provides their own fall arrest
equipment, portable gas monitor, and respirator or self-contained breathing apparatus.
B3.3 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received
at the Site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct
observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.
B3.4 The Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done
and all conditions that might affect their Bid or their performance of the Work, and shall assume
all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have been or could have
been determined through such inspection.
