D3. SCOPE OF WORK

D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of:
(a) Thin Bituminous Overlay (TBO)
(i) Ainsworth Place – Kirkbridge Drive to West End
(ii) Ash Street – Academy Road to Wellington Crescent
(iii) Audubon Place – Lake Grove Bay to South End
(iv) Beaulynn Cove – Allendale Drive to South End
(v) Brookhaven Bay – Lakewood Boulevard to Lakewood Boulevard
(vi) Clerkenwell Bay – Aldgate Road to Aldgate Road
(vii) Dunkirk Place – Kingston Row to South End
(viii) Fallbrook Bay – Pebble Beach Road to Pebble Beach Road
(ix) Lake Green Place – Lake Lindero Road to West End
(x) Lake Linnet Place – Lake Lindero Road to North End
(xi) Larkin Cove – Brentlawn Boulevard to East End
(xii) Linacre Road – Michigan Avenue to Radcliffe Road
(xiii) Magdalen Bay – Baylor Avenue to Baylor Avenue
(xiv) Norfolk Avenue – Oakcrest Place to Kingston Row
(xv) Oakcrest Place – Dunkirk Place to East End
(xvi) Summerside Avenue – Caledon Road to Lasita Road
(xvii) Tahoe Bay – Lakewood Boulevard to Lakewood Boulevard
(xviii) Wynford Drive – Ainsdale Way to St. Martin Boulevard
(b) The City reserves the right to remove, add and/or substitute locations. No changes to Bid
Prices or financial compensation will be considered for these changes. Working days may be revised
based on location revisions where required as determined solely by the Contract Administrator.

D3.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Thin Bituminous Overlay (TBO)
(i) Planing of existing asphalt overlays;
(ii) Planing of asphalt and/or concrete pavements and lip curbs;
(iii) Full-depth concrete repairs of existing slabs and joints;
(iv) Placement of pavement repair fabric;
(v) Adjustment of drainage inlets, manholes, catch basins and water valves;
(vi) Renewal of curb and sidewalk;
(vii) Placement of asphalt overlay (average thickness 65mm); and
(viii) Restoration of boulevards

B3. SITE INVESTIGATION

B3.1 Further to C3.1, the Bidder may view the Site without making an appointment.
B3.2 The Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done and all
conditions that might affect their Bid or their performance of the Work, and shall assume all risk
for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have been or could have been
determined through such inspection.
