D3. SCOPE OF WORK

D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of rehabilitation of various sewer
segments throughout the City of Winnipeg with external point repairs, manhole repairs/replacements,
sewer abandonments and full segment renewals. Sewers range from 200mm to 450mm in diameter.

D3.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) External point repairs of 200mm to 450mm diameter sewers at approximately fourteen (14)
locations;
(b) Manhole repairs and replacements;
(c) Full segment renewal on Linacre Road (N Leg);
(d) Full segment renewal on Provencher Boulevard;
(e) Sewer service renewals and reconnections;
(f) Abandoning existing sewers and manholes;
(g) Sewer and sewer service video inspection; and
(h) Temporary and permanent restoration of boulevard and pavement areas.

D3.3 The following shall apply to the Work:

B3. SITE INVESTIGATION

B3.1 Further to C3.1, the Bidder may view the Site without making an appointment.

B3.2 The Bidder/Proponent is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to
be done and all conditions that might affect their Bid/Proposal or their performance of the Work,
and shall assume all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have
been or could have been determined through such inspection.
