D3. SCOPE OF WORK
D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of:
(a) Pavement Rehabilitation
(i) Pandora Avenue East from Wayota Street to Ravenhurst Street
(ii) Warde Avenue from St. Mary’s Road to Dakota Street
D3.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Pavement Rehabilitation
(i) Construction of new turning lane;
(ii) Planing of existing asphalt, as required;
(iii) Renewal of existing sidewalk, as required;
(iv) Installation of detectable warning tiles;
(v) Installation of catch basins / catch pits and connection pipes, as required;
(vi) Full depth concrete joint and slab repairs;
(vii) Renewal of median concrete slab and bullnoses;
(viii) Removal / renewal of existing curb;
(ix) Construction of monolithic barrier curb and splash strip;
(x) Installation / renewal of modified barrier curb and curb ramp;
(xi) Removal of precast sidewalk blocks an paving stones;
(xii) Adjustment of existing catch basin, catch pit, and manhole frames and covers;
(xiii) Adjustment of water main valves, curb stops and other appurtenances;
(xiv) Placement of pavement repair fabric, as required;
(xv) Placement of asphalt overlay;
(i) Thickness 90mm (average)
