D3.          SCOPE OF WORK

D3.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of:
(a)   Concrete Pavement Rehabilitation and Associated Works
(i)     Bronx Avenue from Henderson Highway to Roch Street;
(ii)     Hazel Dell Avenue from Henderson Highway to Brazier Street;
(iii)     Helmsdale Avenue from Henderson Highway to Brazier Street;
(iv)     Linden Avenue from Henderson Highway to Roch Street; and
(v)     Oakview Avenue from Henderson Highway to Brazier Street.
(b)   Asphalt Resurfacing and Associated Works
(i)     Raleigh Street from Gilmore Avenue to Glenway Avenue.
(c)    Sewer Repairs and Associated Works
(i)     Bronx Avenue from Henderson Highway to Roch Street;
(ii)     Hazel Dell Avenue from Henderson Highway to Brazier Street;
(iii)     Helmsdale Avenue from Henderson Highway to Brazier Street;
(iv)     Linden Avenue from Henderson Highway to Roch Street;
(v)     Oakview Avenue from Henderson Highway to Brazier Street; and
(vi)     Raleigh Street from Gilmore Avenue to Glenway Avenue.

D3.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a)   Concrete Pavement Rehabilitation and Associated Works
(i)     Removal of existing asphalt as required;
(ii)     Renewal of existing sidewalks as required;
(iii)     Construction of concrete sidewalk;
(iv)     Installation of detectable warning surface tiles;
(v)     Removal of existing curb as required;
(vi)     Planing of existing curb as required;
(vii)     Replacement of catch basin leads;
(viii)     Connection to existing sewers;
(ix)     Abandon existing drainage inlets;
(x)     Installation of catch pits and drainage connection pipes;
(xi)     Full depth concrete repairs of existing slabs and joints;
(xii)     Adjustment of existing pavement and boulevard structures;
(xiii)     Renewal of existing barrier curb as required;
(xiv)     Construction of modified barrier curb;
(xv)     Boulevard restoration and sod;
(xvi)     Placement of asphalt scratch coat (Type 1A);
(xvii)     Installation of pavement repair fabric;
(xviii)     Placement of asphalt pavement (Type 1A);
(xix)     Placement of asphalt pavement tie-ins (Type 1A);
(xx)     Boulevard restoration and sod.
(b)   Asphalt Resurfacing and Associated Works
(i)     Ditching;
(ii)     Replacement of culverts;
(iii)     Excavation;
(iv)     Placement of base course material;
(v)     Planing of existing asphalt;
(vi)     Installation of pavement repair fabric;
(vii)     Placement of asphalt pavement (Type 1A);
(viii)     Placement of asphalt pavement tie-ins (Type 1A); and
(ix)     Boulevard restoration and sod.
(c)    Sewer Repairs and Associated Works
(i)     External point repair of existing sewers;
(ii)     Sewer manhole replacement;
(iii)     Replace pre-cast concrete risers and brick risers;
(iv)     Patching pre-cast concrete risers & brick risers;
(v)     Patching of manholes; and
(vi)     Sewer and sewer service video inspection.
