D3.          SCOPE OF WORK

D3.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of:
(a)   Regional Sidewalk Renewals
(i)     Provencher Boulevard (South Side) – Tache Avenue to Langevin Street
(ii)     Notre Dame Avenue (North Side) – Arlington Street to McPhillips Street
(b)   Local Sidewalk Renewals
(i)     Tu-pelo Avenue (North Side) – Gateway Road (Superstore Approach) to London Street
(ii)     Tu-pelo Avenue (South Side) – Gateway Road (Opposite Superstore) to London Street
(iii)     Oakland Avenue (South Side) – Roch Street to Rothesay Street
(iv)     Whellams Lane (North Side) – Claus Bay to Appleton Street
(v)     McMeans Avenue East (North Side) – Wabasha Street to Wayota Street
(vi)     Cunnington Avenue (South Side) – Silverthorn Place to St. Mary’s Road
(vii)     John Forsyth Road (East Side) – Warde Avenue to Thornewood Avenue
(viii)     John Forsyth Road (East Side) – Brotman Bay to Warde Avenue
(c)    Traffic Engineering Improvement Program
(i)     Gertrude Avenue from Nassau Street North to Osborne Street
(ii)     Minnetonka Street from Riel Avenue to River Road

D3.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a)   Provencher Boulevard (South Side) from Tache Avenue to Langevin Street
(i)     Monolithic curb and sidewalk removal;
(ii)     Interlocking paving stone and lean mix removal;
(iii)     Private access removal;
(iv)     Removal of trees and tree well components;
(v)     Supplying and placing base course;
(vi)     Remove and replace curb inlet frame and box;
(vii)     Curb renewal;
(viii)     Create sump pits for Silva Cell drainage;
(ix)     Install leads from Silva Cells to existing catch basins;
(x)     Installation of Silva Cells;
(xi)     Install new tree well frames and grates;
(xii)     Adjust MH/Catch Basin frames;
(xiii)     Adjust water valves;
(xiv)     Adjust curb stops;
(xv)     Install 100mm monolithic curb and sidewalk with block-outs for paving stones;
(xvi)     Install paving stone indicator surfaces;
(xvii)     Installation of Detectable Warning Surface Tiles;
(xviii)     Construction of asphalt patches;
(xix)     Regrading of existing interlocking paving stone;
(xx)     Grading of boulevard; and
(xxi)     Sodding.
(b)   Notre Dame Avenue (North Side) from Arlington Street to McPhillips Street
(i)     Monolithic curb and sidewalk removal;
(ii)     Private access removal;
(iii)     Curb renewal;
(iv)     Supplying and placing base course;
(v)     Adjust MH/Catch Basin frames;
(vi)     Adjust water valves;
(vii)     Adjust curb stops;
(viii)     Install 100mm monolithic curb and sidewalk;
(ix)     Install 150mm reinforced concrete sidewalk;
(x)     Installation of Detectable Warning Surface Tiles;
(xi)     Construction of asphalt patches;
(xii)     Grading of boulevard; and
(xiii)     Sodding;
(c)    Local Street Renewals
(i)     100mm concrete sidewalk removal;
(ii)     150mm concrete sidewalk removal;
(iii)     Private access removal;
(iv)     Curb renewal;
(v)     Supplying and placing base course;
(vi)     Adjust Manhole/Catch Basin frames;
(vii)     Adjust water valves;
(viii)     Adjust curb stops;
(ix)     100mm concrete sidewalk renewal;
(x)     150mm concrete sidewalk renewal;
(xi)     Removal and adjustment of patio stones;
(xii)     Installation of Detectable Warning Surface Tiles;

(ii)     100mm concrete sidewalk removal;

(v)     Abandon existing catch basin;
(vi)     Supplying and placing base course;
(vii)     Install new catch basins;
(viii)     Connecting to existing sewer;
(ix)     Adjust Manhole/Catch Basin frames;
(x)     Adjust water valves;
(xi)     100mm concrete sidewalk renewal;
(xii)     New 100mm concrete sidewalk;
(xiii)     Removal and adjustment of patio stones;
(xiv)     Installation of Detectable Warning Surface Tiles;
(xv)     Installation of Raised Pedestrian Crossing
(xvi)     Installation of asphalt Speed Tables;
(xvii)     Construction of Concrete Slabs
(xviii)     Construction of asphaltic concrete overlay;
(xix)     Construction of asphalt patches;
(xx)     Grading of boulevard; and
(xxi)     Sodding.
