2023-88-WHW-P - West Hawk Crescent Beach Wall Replacement

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) on behalf of the owner of the project, Department of Environment and Climate Change, Parks Branch (“Owner”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the West Hawk Crescent Beach Wall Replacement as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”).

The work is being done in West Hawk Townsite, Whiteshell Provincial Park, Manitoba. Work site location will be partially occupied during construction as it is adjacent to a public road that must have one lane kept open for access.

An optional site visit has been scheduled as follows:
Location: West Hawk Crescent Beach Wall Parking Area
Date and Time: December 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM local time

Proponents are to meet at the West Hawk Beach Wall Parking Area prior to 11:00 am to sign the site attendance sheet. Proponents are to pre-register by email to the project manager at ryan.wakshinski@gov.mb.ca. A reply will be sent as a confirmation of proponent’s attendance. It is the Proponents responsibility to ensure registration and confirmation has been received prior to the meeting.

Deadline for registration is the end of the business day December 18, 2023. Attendance at the site visit will be confirmed and recorded. If weather is unsuitable the day of the meeting an email will be sent to all confirmed attendees and an alternate date/time provided.

Proponents are not entitled to rely on information received from CPPD, the Owner’s representatives or other third parties at the site visit unless the RFP Contact has provided the information in writing.

Deadline for questions January 9, 2024. All questions must be submitted to the RFP Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca. CPPD will only address questions that were sent to this email address.

Bid submission deadline is January 18, 2024 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the e bid requirements.
