2023-72-4721-P - Elevator Modernization

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Projects Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a complete modernization of a Single Hydraulic Elevator in 1129 Queens Avenue, Brandon, MB – Brandon Agricultural Exchange centre as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”).

The work is being done in a 4 storey Provincial Building with multiple offices. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, a full modernization as per specifications attached. Work site location will be fully occupied during construction.

CPPD is administering this RFP process. For the purposes of this procurement process, the “RFP Contact” will be:

An optional site visit has been scheduled as follows:
Location: 1129 Queens Avenue, Brandon, MB
Date and Time: September 12, 2023 10:00 AM local time

Proponents are to meet at 1129 Queens Avenue, Brandon, MB (North Entrance) prior to 10:00 AM to sign the site attendance sheet.

Proponents are to pre-register by email to the project coordinator at chris.cruz@gov.mb.ca. It is the Proponents responsibility to ensure registration and confirmation has been received prior to the meeting.

Deadline for registration is the end of the business day September 11, 2023. Attendance at the site visit will be confirmed and recorded.

If proponents are not available to attend the above scheduled optional site visit, but still wish to view the site, an appointment may be arranged by contacting the RFP Contact. Proponents are not entitled to rely on information received from CPPD, CPPD’s representatives or other third parties at the site visit unless the RFP Contact has provided the information in writing.

Deadline for questions September 15, 2023. All questions must be submitted to the RFP Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca. CPPD will only address questions that were sent to this email address.

Bid submission deadline is September 19, 2023 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the e-bid requirements.
