2023-30-KHP2-P - Accessibility, Kitchen, & Life Safety Upgrades at Kennedy House

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) on behalf of the owner of the project Department of Natural Resources and Northern Development. Parks Branch(“Owner”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for accessibility, Kitchen, and Life Safety Construction Upgrades as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”).

CPPD requires the services of a Contractor for accessibility, Kitchen, and Life Safety Construction Upgrades. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to accessibility, Kitchen, and Life Safety Construction Upgrades. Work site location will not be occupied during construction.

Proponents and their representatives are not permitted to contact any employees, officers, agents, elected or appointed officials, or other representatives of Manitoba or CPPD other than the RFP Contact, concerning matters regarding this RFP. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in the disqualification of the proponent and the rejection of the proponent’s proposal.

An optional site visit has been scheduled as follows:
Location: Captain Kennedy House, 417 River Road, St. Andrews, Manitoba
Date and Time: Aug 09, 2023 10:00 am local time

Proponents are to meet at location prior to 10:00am to sign the site attendance sheet. Proponents are to pre-register by email to the project coordinator at ryan.wakshinski@gov.mb.ca. It is the Proponents responsibility to ensure registration and confirmation has been received prior to the meeting. Deadline for registration is the end of the business day Aug 8, 2023. Attendance at the site visit will be confirmed and recorded.

Deadline for questions August 23, 2023. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca. CPPD will only address questions that were sent to this email address.

Bid submission deadline is August 30, 2023 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of Proposal submission will be accepted.
