Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors 208V Panel Replacement in Port Aux Basques, NL.

The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal site in Port Aux Basques, Newfoundland.

The Work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to:

Replace existing 400A 120/208V 3PH 4W panel “PP1” with a new 400A 347/600V 3PH 4W panel. Panel is located in Marine Atlantic’s maintenance building in the truck repair room (RM 108). All existing cables to be reused in the new PP1 panel. Panel is floor mount with bottom and top entry feeds.

- Contractor shall supply, install, and test new panel with existing loads

- Contractor shall supply all fittings, conduit, wire, connectors, and junction box(es) as required

- Contractor to extend conduits and/or wiring where required.

- If required, contractor shall supply multi-circuit junction box equipped with terminal blocks to extend existing wiring.

The MAI Port aux Basques Terminal Site is a 24/7 operation. Construction work completed under this contract must not negatively impact ongoing terminal operations. Advanced coordination of work will be required to maintain continuous operation.

Contractor will be responsible for ensuring appropriate measures are in place to protect their employees in accordance with provisions contained within Federal and Provincial legislation and the Marine Atlantic Health and Safety Plan. Such measures will ensure that appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is identified by the Contractor prior to site mobilization.

Submittals:
- Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Construction Schedule.
- Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Site-Specific Safety Plan (SSSP).
- Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Site-Specific Environmental Protection Plan (EPP).

Marine Atlantic reserves the right to accept tenders in whole or in part. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

A site visit will be held on October 20th , 2023 at 2:00 pm Newfoundland time, at the site in Port Aux Basques, Newfoundland.

The closing for receipt of tenders will be 2:00 p.m., Atlantic time, on October 30, 2023.

Proposals must be submitted by electronic means using the MERX EBS.

This will be the only method of response accepted for consideration. Proposals will not be considered if submitted by fax, email or other open forms of communication. Proposals must be received by the closing date and hour. Late Proposals will not be considered.

Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) lance un appel d'offres auprès de fournisseurs qualifiés pour le remplacement du panneau 208 V à Port Aux Basques, à Terre-Neuve.

Le projet est situé sur le site du terminal de traversier Marine Atlantique à Port Aux Basques, à Terre-Neuve.

Les travaux comprennent généralement, sans toutefois s'y limiter :

• Remplacer le panneau « PP1 » 400A 120/208V 3PH 4W existant par un nouveau panneau 400A 347/600V 3PH 4W. Le panneau est situé dans le bâtiment de maintenance de Marine Atlantique, dans la salle de réparation des camions (RM 108). Tous les câbles existants seront réutilisés dans le nouveau panneau PP1. Le panneau est monté au sol avec des entrées d’entrée inférieure et supérieure.

o L'entrepreneur doit fournir, installer et tester le nouveau panneau avec les charges existantes.

o L'entrepreneur doit fournir tous les raccords, conduits, fils, connecteurs et boîtes de jonction selon les besoins.

o L'entrepreneur doit prolonger les conduits et/ou le câblage si nécessaire.

o Si nécessaire, l'entrepreneur doit fournir une boîte de jonction multicircuit équipée de borniers pour prolonger le câblage existant.

• Le site du terminal MAI de Port aux Basques est opérationnel 24 heures sur 24, 7 jours sur 7. Les travaux de construction réalisés dans le cadre de ce contrat ne doivent pas avoir d'impact négatif sur les opérations en cours du terminal. Une coordination avancée des travaux sera nécessaire pour maintenir un fonctionnement continu.

• L'entrepreneur sera responsable de s'assurer que des mesures appropriées sont en place pour protéger ses employés conformément aux dispositions contenues dans les lois fédérales et provinciales et dans le plan de santé et de sécurité de Marine Atlantique. De telles mesures garantiront que l'équipement de protection individuelle (EPI) approprié est identifié par l'entrepreneur avant la mobilisation du site.

• Soumissions :
o Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d'un calendrier de construction approuvé.
o Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d'un plan de sécurité spécifique au site (SSSP) approuvé.
o Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d'un plan de protection de l'environnement (PPE) spécifique au site approuvé.

Marine Atlantique se réserve le droit d'accepter les offres en totalité ou en partie. L’offre la plus basse ou toute autre offre ne sera pas nécessairement acceptée.

Une visite des lieux aura lieu le 20 octobre 2023 à 14h00, heure de Terre-Neuve, sur le site de Port Aux Basques, Terre-Neuve.

La date limite de réception des soumissions sera le 30 octobre 2023 à 14 h, heure de l'Atlantique.

Les propositions doivent être soumises par voie électronique en utilisant MERX EBS.

Ce sera la seule méthode de réponse acceptée pour examen. Les propositions ne seront pas prises en compte si elles sont soumises par fax, courrier électronique ou autres formes de communication ouvertes. Les propositions doivent être reçues avant la date et l’heure de clôture. Les propositions tardives ne seront pas prises en compte.
