Description

The College Employer Council is the government mandated bargaining agent for the 24 Ontario publicly funded colleges (the “Colleges”) in negotiating collective agreements with unionized staff. In addition, the CEC is the policy holder for group benefits in the sector. It also provides a variety of services for the college system such as advice and guidance on human resources issues, collective agreement administration, administrative compensation, and research.
CEC wishes to enter into an agreement with a vendor (“Agreement”) to produce an all encompassing Absence Guide that states best practices, provides the corresponding HR policies and templates to support the below workplace programs (the “Project”):

Attendance Management
Short Term Absence leading into Long Term Absence (dependant on sick leave credits)
Supported and Non-supported Medical Leave
Return to Work
Workplace Accommodation

Note: this excludes work related injuries and illness
