PACKAGE Trade Package 03: Road Construction and Landscaping for
Lakeshore Boulevard East Project in the CITY OF TORONTO

EllisDon Corporation is the Construction Manager for the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation Lakeshore Boulevard East (LSBE). EllisDon invites eligible companies, firms or joint ventures to submit proposals for Road Construction and Landscaping of the LSBE project, located in the city of Toronto:
The work to be performed under this contract consists of all work shown on the Contract Drawings and Specifications and includes but is not limited to the following:
- All works required for the reconfiguration of Lake Shore Blvd. East from the east side of Lake Shore Bridge to Carlaw Ave. and from the West side of Lake Shore Bridge to approx. Bent 330, including all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary for the permanent road construction and landscape finishes.
- New construction, including but not limited to the supply and installation of all the materials required for paving, subdrains, curbs and gutter, sidewalks, stairs and handrails, medians, soil, soil cells, signage and pavement markings.
- Fine grading of the areas handed over by the previous subcontractor.
- Tree protection removal.
- Tree and shrub planting.
- Supply and installation of irrigation system.
- Park benches and furniture.
- Temporary asphalt removal and disposal, and excavation to top of subgrade elevation on median and intersections (provisional);
- Carlaw and Lake Shore intersection excavation to top of subgrade, including disposal off site, all material exceeds Table 3 and should be considered contaminated-non hazardous (provisional)
- Plants will be maintained to Specification, 2 years following final acceptance.
- Curb installation to include drops at entrances and crossings.
- Pavement for sidewalks, bike lanes and multi use paths to include ramps for crossings.
Where the anticipated contract value is greater than $250,000, the Proponent will be required to have the ability to bond with an established surety company.
