Elections Ontario (or “EO”) is a non-partisan agency of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario working under the direction of the Chief Electoral Officer (“CEO”), an Officer of the Legislative Assembly. EO is responsible for conducting general elections, by-elections and referenda in accordance with the provisions in the Elections Act and the administration of Election Finances Act.
BACKGROUND
With a vision to build modern services that put the needs of electors first, EO is issuing this RFQ to select a vendor for the purpose of procuring compact monochrome laser printers (Printers) as described in this RFQ to be deployed on a large-scale for the upcoming 2018 General Election as part of our Technology in the Polls (TiP) project. These Printers will be used in subsequent general elections and in future by-elections.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this RFQ is to solicit responses from proponents to provide EO with up to five thousand (5,000) compact monochrome laser printers for purchase.
Printers will be required to be shipped to EO’s third party vendor located at the following location:
Creditview Rd,
Mississauga, ON
L5N 8G1
Delivered Printers will undergo a warehouse acceptance process. Any printers that are damaged or defective at time of delivery will be returned to the Vendor and replaced by the Vendor at the cost of the Vendor.
All further documentation required to submit a response to this RFQ must be procured from MERX.
