2023ENT-13 - Grounds Maintenance

            The contract does not include the maintenance of play structures and the
                   surrounding sanded areas.

The successful Respondents must prepare and submit a schedule for all sites upon award of the contract for the Purchaser’s acceptance indicating the proposed sequence in which the sites will be done. Successful Respondents awarded contracts for sites in Price Schedule, Article 3.10.0. Once agreed upon by the purchaser, the successful Respondent is/are not to change the sequence of sites cut without the prior approval of the Board Representative.

If successful Respondents arrive to carry out a scheduled grounds maintenance service and discover the field being used under a valid Event Permit, the successful Respondents will proceed to the next scheduled site. The successful Respondents will have to return later to the site, which was in use during the original visit, and complete the required work at no additional charge to the Board and without affecting multiple site discounts offered.
Other Requirements:

The Purchaser will assume no responsibility for payment for any services over and above those specified above unless approved by the Board Authorized Representative.

2. Equipment :

1. The successful Bidders must have sufficient equipment to complete the required work on the sites awarded. Equipment used on Board property MUST NOT EXCEED 9000 lbs GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) including payload.
2. Prior to an employee operating equipment, the successful Respondent shall make the employee aware of all the equipment manufacturer’s safety precautions.
3. The purchaser shall no be held responsible for the loss or damage of any materials, tools and/or equipment.

• All company vehicules used by the successful Respondent, shall meet provincial safety standards and must clearly indicate the successful Respondent’s name and telephone number.
• The successful Respondent may use their vehicules on paved areas in order to pick up and deliver equipment and materials.
• The successful Respondent shall not leave a vehicule parked in a designated fire lane or evacuation route.
