DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – #ML000205 – L-042 Retrofit and development-Demolition Phase Montréal Garrison, Qc
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary for the interior demolition of the two (2) stories of building L-042, located at Longue Pointe, Montréal Garrison. The abatement portion of this project represents about 35% of entire project and involves handling of hazardous material including Lead and Asbestos.
Tenderers are advised that this opportunity has been set-aside under the Federal Government Set-Aside for Aboriginal Business, in accordance with the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business. The Tenderer must certify in its tender (using Form A – Certification Requirements for the Set-Aside Program for Aboriginal Business) that it is an Aboriginal Business or eligible joint venture, as defined in this competition and in the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat Contracting Policy Notices on Aboriginal Business Procurement. Tenders received from Tenderers that do not include their Form A – Certification Requirements for the Set-Aside Program for Aboriginal Business will be considered non-compliant and will result in disqualification of the tender.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, DCC will limit the number of tenderers participating to the site visit simultaneously. The tenderers are to contact Mr. Aniss Hayder at aniss.hayder@dcc-cdc.gc.ca, no later than May 21, 2021, 5 pm (local), to book the scheduled time for the visit. Please indicate how many persons will be attending.
In line with the Public Health Measures provided by the Public Health Agency of Canada, the use of mask will be required during the Site Meeting. Use of gloves is your personal option but not explicitly required at this time to access to the site. Masks will not be provided to Tenderers by DCC.
The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $640,000.00
Tenderers are advised that bid and contract security is required when the advertised budget (estimated cost for this opportunity) is greater than $100,000. Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers for Electronic Bidding - Form DCL193E, paragraph 5.
The work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 214 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 30 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by the CSP, PWGSC.
