Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals for A/E Consulting Services:
CXA16001, Multidisciplinary Architecture and Engineering Consultant Services Standing Offer Agreement (SOA), CFB Comox, B.C.
In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from architectural / engineering consulting firms to provide the following professional services: preparation of a Statement of Requirement OR Construction Requirement, Conduct Feasibility Studies and Pre-design Reports, Options Analysis, Preparation of Concept, Design Development, Preparation of Construction Documents OR Performance Specifications, Cost Estimating, Tender Phase Services, Construction Phase Services, and Energy Audits.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise. The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposals is to select two firms, who will each be awarded a SOA with DCC to provide services on an “as and when required” basis.
This opportunity follows procurement procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.
The Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.
The estimated value of this SOA is in the order of magnitude of $900,000 (for both SOA’s combined) for a period of two (2) years from the date of establishment. If mutually agreeable between the Consultant and DCC, the SOA may be extended for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods and increased in value by up to $900,000 at any time.
