IO, which is an agency of the Ontario Government, is a crown corporation owned by the Province of Ontario and established by the Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation Act, 2011. OILC provides customer focused real estate services to the Ontario Government, including strategic portfolio management, asset management, property and land management, and capital projects.
The scope of work includes replacing and expansion of video surveillance within secure cells areas, prisoner transfer areas, public areas and exterior of courthouse, new access controls (and hardware replacement) on all public facing doors, replacement and expansion of duress system including tie in to existing outside monitoring company, external duress stations at 3 judicial entrances, video and audio intercoms throughout the courthouse, door release and key switches within courtrooms per MAG standard, replacement of cell fronts to MAG standards, electronic door release on cell doors and detention doors, two custody police monitoring station upgrades including furniture and new security equipment, all hardware, software, warranty and equipment related to security equipment upgrades per design, project to be OBC and fire code compliant, contractor warranty to provide 5-year complete warranty and shall include defined turnaround times for service calls, 10% spare parts to be provided by contractor, scope includes signage for video surveillance and wayfinding related to security including directing the public to the main entrance.
