The Client, which is an agency of the Ontario Government, is a crown corporation owned by the Province of Ontario and established by the Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation Act, 2011. Infrastructure Ontario provides customer focused real estate services to the Ontario Government, including strategic portfolio management, asset management, property and land management, and capital projects.
The Ontario Police College is 10716 Hacienda Rd. Aylmer, ON
The scope of work is broken into two sections.
Section One: Duration 6 weeks On July 18, 2023. The college will hand over the Police Vehicle Training track to the winning Paving company to begin resurfacing the 2.5 KM track.
The top layer of the track is to be milled and then a geo - technical survey is to be performed to determine the substructure condition of the track. All repairs as well as reinforcement of the corners, extending the track as shown in the attached drawings, trenching for electrical, resurfacing the entire track, painting all lines and installing all road signs. Must be complete before September 4th, 2023. The new class of recruits will begin training September 5, 2023.
Section Two: This work is not time sensitive. This work is being included under a cash allowance. The winning contractor will receive the final Electrical drawings to issued for 3 separate competitive bids The scope of this work includes installing new light posts between Front and King Street on the PVO track. The existing lighting will remain until the new lighting is ready to be commissioned. The new lights will have all their wires buried and they will be installed in the center of the medium separating Front and King Street. The new lights will extend over the four blocks as shown on the drawings. The existing traffic lights will also be replaced with new. A new set of traffic signals will be installed on Queen Street as shown on the drawings. This work will be done in coordination with the track resurfacing.
