Description

College Boréal is seeking qualified contractors to renovate our existing “Salle Watters” lecture hall located in the main building of the Sudbury Campus.

The renovation will include (but not limited to) the following items, demolition, discard of the existing seating and finishes. Supply and install new seating, new carpet, new acoustic panels, new lighting and fully paint the space. The college will supply the audiovisual components that the successful proponent will install in part and coordinate the balance with an external AV contractor.

The project is slated for the award on July 5, 2024, the renovation can start on August 19, 2024 and be completed by December 6, 2024. Funding for the project has been approved. Occupation and use of the new space will commence in January 2025.

A mandatory site visit is in order to ascertain the work requirements. Failure to be present at the site visit and sign in will result in the disqualification of your proposal.

The mandatory site visit will be held on June 12, 2024, at 9:30 am. Interested proponents should assemble at the Collège Boréal entrance at 21, boulevard Lasalle, Sudbury ON P3A 6B1. Email ddp.rfp@collegeboreal.ca to confirm attendance and interest in the project by 3 pm June 11, 2024.
