The objective of the contract service is to conduct public attitude surveys in Port Hope and in the Port Granby area of Southeast Clarington. Specifically, the survey is aimed at identifying area residents’ level of knowledge and awareness about historic Low Level Radioactive Waste and the Port Hope Area Initiative projects; their attitudes towards and perceptions of their community and its issues, particularly as these relate to the Port Hope Area Initative projects.
