885293 - Douglas Point Turbine and Admin Buildings Site Perimeter Trenching

In general, the Scope of Work for this contract includes the following Trenching sequence
activities as specified in the Design Package.
Disconnect/cut, cap, remove and/or salvage from the perimeter of the Buildings
and their associated structures, and underground utilities and services:
 Asphalt and concrete surfaces
 Existing grass/landscape
 Retaining walls, handrails and staircases
 Existing hydro lines and transformers
 Grounding grids, ground conductors
 Existing water mains above and below ground
 Existing oil lines
Drain, de-energize and remove all substrate structures to a minimum depth of one
(1) meter below grade and any foundation.
 Demolish and Remove miscellaneous surface elements.
 Make the area safe either by backfilling to grade excavated areas, installing fences,
or other measures as required to prepare for next phase of demolition.
