Purpose
This posting will serve to add new respondents to the eligible vendors list for Request for Pre-Qualification 22419-99820-Q01 for the removal and disposal of OC Transpo Buses for scrap metal, by weight at several City of Ottawa OC Transpo sites. Vendors already on the Eligible Vendors List do not need to submit a submission to this extension.
The RFQ established an initial list of vendors eligible to participate in the Invitation to Quote (“ITQ”) process as detailed in the RFQ.
As noted in the RFQ, throughout the Period of Pre-Qualification, vendors will have the opportunity to be added to the eligible vendors list.
Background
On 06 November 2019, the City posted Request for Pre-Qualification 22419-99820-Q01 for the removal and disposal of OC Transpo Buses (“Equipment”) for scrap metal, by weight at several City of Ottawa OC Transpo sites with a closing date of 11 November 2019. No Addenda were issued.
The initial Period of Pre-Qualification extended up to and including 01 December 2020. The pre-qualification may be extended for two (2) additional one (1) year terms, subject to satisfactory performance by the Vendor, and continued requirement by the City.
