Requirement

The City of Ottawa, hereinafter referred to as the City, is seeking qualification submissions to provide professional engineering services to carry out preliminary design, detailed design and contract administration for the replacement of four (4) bridge culverts at Carling Avenue over Graham Creek, Highway 174 Tenth Line Road Exit Ramp, Merivale Road over Black Rapids Creek and Limestone Road Bridge as described in the Terms of Reference, attached hereto as Annex “A”.

Availability of Document

Copies of this Request for Pre-Qualification (RFQ) are available from the MERX Distribution Unit, telephone 1-800-964-6379 or via the Internet at www.merx.com. MERX is the official and sole distributor of this RFQ and any issued addenda. If respondents obtain this RFQ by any means other than through MERX, ensuring the accuracy of the RFQ and the receipt of any addenda is the sole responsibility of the respondents. It is the responsibility of the respondents to regularly check MERX for any addenda that may be issued prior to the RFQ due date. Addenda issued by the City prior to the RFQ closing date form part of this RFQ. Failure to acknowledge all issued addenda may result in the submission being deemed non-compliant and rejected.

The City relies on the electronic MERX advertisement to provide public notice of this business opportunity and is not obligated to notify past or present suppliers in any other manner.

Submission of Responses

All submissions in response to this solicitation shall be submitted electronically through the City’s e-Procurement system provided by MERX. Respondents are advised to contact MERX directly for electronic response submission assistance. No submission submitted in hard copy, through fax or email will be accepted or considered.

Submissions shall be received NO LATER THAN 3:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME ON Friday, 24 June 2022. Submissions received after the above due date and time will not be considered.
