Requirement

The City of Ottawa, Fire Services (the “City”) has a requirement for single, double and triple tier plastic storage lockers (the “Goods”) in accordance with the Specifications, Terms and Conditions of the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ).

Period of Contract

The period of contract shall commence on the date of issuance of a Purchase Order and shall end on the date when the goods and/or services have been delivered to and accepted by the City.

Closing Date

Quotations must be submitted no later than 3:00:00 PM local time (EST) on Wednesday, 30 September 2020.

Bid Submission

Bidders must submit their bids electronically through the MERX online system to the Contracting Authority noted below. Any inquiries must be submitted by the Inquiry Deadline noted in the MERX advertisement and shall be directed to the Contracting Authority only through the MERX Q/A module or by e-mail. Both the questions and answers will be distributed to all potential bidders by way of written addendum, published in MERX, without identifying the source(s) of the inquiry.

The City is not obligated to respond to an inquiry or question received after the Inquiry Deadline has elapsed. The bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any response or interpretation received from the City unless that response or interpretation is provided by the Contracting Authority by way of addendum.

Bidders shall ensure their bid includes the following documents:

One (1) completed and signed copy of the City’s Contractual Acknowledgment found in Appendix A; and
One (1) completed copy of their Financial Offer found in Appendix B.

In addition to submission of the required bid documents Bidders shall transcribe their Total Bid Price per Price Schedule “A” to their Lump Sum Bid Price in their MERX submission. In the event of a discrepancy the price entered into Price Schedule “A” shall prevail.
