Description

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY PAYING ATTENTION TO ALL REQUIREMENTS AND DATES.

1.SUMMARY OF REQUIRED GOODS/SERVICES:

The key objectives in issuing this RFP is as follows:

CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking proposals for the purchase of its Kitchener (St-Agathe), Ontario transmission assets including the assignment of active revenue license agreements.

2. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION:
This RFP is opened only to Proponents who meet each of the following mandatory requirements as evidenced in its written request for RFP documents:

The proponent must have demonstrated experience as a tower operator.

The proponent is required to undertake its own due diligence on the assets at its own expense.
The minimum offer that will be considered for the assets is $C 750,000.00
Only cash offers will be considered.
Proponent must be in a position to close the purchase and sale transaction within 90 days of the closing date of this RFP.

3. TO REQUEST THE RFP
To obtain the RFP Documentation, Proponents must submit the Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), along with the Qualification Request form completed and signed by a duly authorized representative confirming that the Proponent meets all the Mandatory requirements described in the documents.
Please note that in order to maintain total integrity and fairness CBC/Radio-Canada will not entertain changes to the NDA which, at this point, is for the purpose of this RFP.

The Proponent must be registered with Merx Canada. Once registered, the file containing the above documents is located under the Required Acknowledgement section of this opportunity and can be accessed by clicking “Place Bid”.

The documents to be completed and signed (NDA & Qualification Request Form) must be submitted no later than June 9, 2017, 5:00 PM Eastern Time, to the CBC/Radio-Canada Representative for this RFP (see item 4 below for co-ordinates).

Following receipt of the required documents (NDA & Qualification Request Form) and CBC/Radio-Canada’s positive assessment of your company’s submissions, you will receive an e-mail from Merx that the RFP documents are ready for download.

Please note that CBC/Radio-Canada is not responsible for the distribution of the documents.

Any contact with CBC/Radio-Canada at this stage of the RFP must be undertaken by e-mail only, which will be addressed to the CBC/Radio-Canada Representative for this RFP, whose co-ordinates appear below. Qualification Requirements
