1. SUMMARY OF REQUIRED GOODS/SERVICES:
The objective of this RFSA is to qualify Suppliers with recent experience on an ad hoc basis, will assist CBC/Radio-Canada in handling its Close Protection Security. CBC/Radio-Canada will retain a maximum of three (3) successful prequalified firms by categories, by region, namely Quebec, Ontario, Eastern and Western Canada. For more clarification, the supplier shall have a presence and offer their service at least one additional region of Canada in addition to Ontario, with the exception of Quebec, suppliers who wish to only be considered for Quebec, may do so, only if they can provide the required service in both official languages.
CBC/Radio-Canada wishes to pre-qualify suppliers from across the country who are able to meet its various security services. CBC/Radio-Canada reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine the number of pre-qualified suppliers.
CBC/Radio-Canada reserves the right to award a private contract to a supplier not pre-qualified through this RFSA, on a case-by-case basis according to immediate operational requirements.
2. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
There are no Mandatory Requirements to obtain access to the RFSA documents.
3. TO OBTAIN THE RFI DOCUMENTATION
As CBC/Radio-Canada uses Merx (https://www.merx4.merx.com/cbc) to manage its solicitation process, all Proponents must obtain the RFSA documents through Merx. Here is the link to the Merx Quick Get Started Steps for new users (http://bit.ly/2NW0a93).

5. COMMUNICATION WITH CBC/RADIO-CANADA
Any contact with CBC/Radio-Canada at this stage of the RFI must be undertaken by e-mail only, which will be addressed to the CBC/Radio-Canada Representative for this RFSA, whose co-ordinates appear below. All e-mails pertaining to this RFSA must state the RFSA reference number (RFSA # SEC20210512) in the “Subject” of the e-mail.

Once the tender documents have been obtained, Proponents may have queries, require further information or clarification, or discover certain omissions or ambiguities in the RFSA documents. If so, or if there is any doubt about the meaning of any part of this RFSA, shall submit their questions through MERX no later than the date specified in PART I: INTRODUCTION, Table 1: Critical Dates in the RFSA Process of the main document. CBC/Radio-Canada reserves the right to answer only those questions submitted through Merx.
6. RECEIPT OF RESPONSES
Responses must be received by CBC/Radio-Canada, via electronic submission to the Merx Website (www.merx.com) no later than September 7, 2021 at 8:00:00 pm, Eastern Time.
The Proponent has the sole responsibility for the timely receipt of an Offer by CBC/Radio-Canada. The Proponent cannot transfer such responsibility to CBC/Radio-Canada. The MERX clock shall be used to determine the time of receipt of the Response, whether the time indicated on such clock is accurate or not.
Partial Offers, amendments or revisions which are received after the date and time for the RFSA Submission Closing Date will not be accepted.
