Description

Capital Power is seeking proposals for the completion of ground contour survey work for the Whitla Wind Project.
Whitla Wind is a 201.6 MW wind electricity generating project located southwest of Medicine Hat in the County of Forty Mile, Alberta. The Alberta Electric System Operator has awarded the Project a 20 year off-take agreement and the project is currently scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2019.
Capital Power is an independent power producer which develops, acquires, operates and optimizes power generation from a variety of energy sources including coal, gas, biomass and wind. Capital Power currently owns and operates nearly 4,500 megawatts (MW) of generation across 24 sites in North America.
