Description

The Shared Purchasing Service Consortium of Grey-Bruce is requesting responses to this RFT for the removal and disposal of a designated area of existing roof and roof replacement or repair at the following Bluewater District School Board locations.

Bruce Peninsula District School located in Lion’s Head, Ontario. The Roof Sections which require replacement and/or repair at Bruce Peninsula District School are Roof Section 1.1 and Roof Section 1.2 with an approximate combined total of 5,403 square feet.

Egremont Community School located in Holstein, Ontario. The Roof Sections which require replacement and/or repair at Egremont Community School are Roof Section 1.0, Roof Section 2.0 and Roof Section 3.0 with an approximate combined total of 2,237 square feet.

There will be a mandatory site meeting on Tuesday May 11, 2021 at the locations detailed within this RFT. Proponents must attend the site meeting for each specific location that he/she wishes to submit a response to. If a Proponent does not attend a site meeting, he/she will not be permitted to submit a response for that location. Proponents are encouraged to attend the mandatory site meetings at all locations.
The Mandatory Site Meeting will begin promptly at the schedule time. The scheduled start times for the site meetings are as follows;
Bruce Peninsula District School 11:00 a.m. EST
Egremont Community School 2:30 p.m. EST

No Contractor(s) will be permitted to enter the interior of the school(s) or the roof area(s) prior to the official start of the site meeting.

Proponents should submit one (1) original paper copy and one (1) electronic copy (USB Flash Drive/Memory Stick) of the RFT Response in an envelope clearly marked ‘RFT 21-00117 Roof Replacement Projects’. All responses must be submitted on or before the submission deadline. All responses must be submitted to the attention of the Document Coordinator in Hanover, Ontario.
