SCOPE OF WORK
Description of Project:
Site works will include the removal and restoration of the existing sidewalks, stairs and decks for the three (3) pedestrian entrances located along Elm Street. A barrier free access ramp is to be constructed upon approval at the west side of the pedestrian entrance number 1.
Pedestrian entrance number 4 shall have the existing interlocking sidewalk curbs and asphalt removed as indicated on the plans. The site will then be reconstructed as indicated in the plans. A storm sewer system consisting of three (3) area drains, three (3) clean-outs and approximately 59 m of 200 mm ⌀ PVC pipe will be installed and connected to the existing catch basin located to the southeast of pedestrian entrance number 4.
Work must be completed after hours typically between 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Monday to Friday. Some weekends have wash court therefore site work must be coordinated with BGIS and the courts manager in advance.
- TBS Clearances are required for site access
- Contractor is required to complete the CMMS forms as per Infrastructure Ontario Design & Commissioning Guidelines (Attached).
- For all Power Interruptions, Contractor is required to complete the CRFC forms as per Infrastructure Ontario Guidelines. This must be submitted with a complete Method of Procedure. Power Shutdown/Interruption approval time is a minimum of 20 business days.
