Description

This Project is for the construction of a New Access Road into Fort William Historical Park, entering off of Broadway Avenue on to King Road,Thunder Bay, Ontario. Fort William Historical Park is operational 7 days per week, 24 hours perday, 12 months of the year and shall remain fully operational at all times during construction.

The Intent of the Project is a New (further) East Entrance off of Broadway Avenue onto Ministry owned property with the construction of a new 6.5m wide access road complete with 1.0m paved shoulders and a 3.5m dedicated multi-use pathway. The new roadway will connect southerly from Broadway to King Road with a new T-intersection with directional island, while the dedicated multi-use pathway will connect to the existing Ampitheatre trail system.
