IFES2 INTENT OF THE RFP
2.1 Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and BGIS have retained AG Engineering (Thunder Bay) Inc.
As their Engineer for the project.
2.2 The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to pre-select an EVSC Equipment
Supplier, as detailed in this RFP, using equipment that meets or exceeds the
specifications and is supported by a supplier with a proven track record of good
performance.
BGIS will tender the General Contracts for the Projects and select the general
contractors. The General Contractors or authorized Subcontractors will issue the
purchase orders to the Equipment Supplier.
2.4 The Equipment Supplier will be required to supply the specified equipment to General
Contractors, shipped to the specific project job sites, for the prices quoted, for the
duration of the Proposal Validity Period.
Proposals must be addressed to Bid recipient, Project Administrator, using MERX
electronic bidding system and must be received no later than the Closing Date and
Closing Time of:
2:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME ON Tuesday, September 27th, 2017
