Description

As part of the DAF Upgrades project, the existing clarifiers, i.e., Clarifier No. 2 and No. 4, will be converted into the new DAF systems, i.e. DAF No. 1 and No. 2. The DAF equipment has been preselected with the shop drawings pre-purchased from the Supplier, Napier Reid, prior to the Construction Contract. The DAF upgrades will be phased in two contracts. This contract will be the Phase 1 Upgrades and include converting Clarifier No. 2 to a DAF system (DAF No. 1) and constructing a DAF auxiliary equipment building.

Associated Engineering Ont. Ltd. (Associated) is currently completing the detailed design for the upgrades. Napier-Reid will be nominated as the sole supplier of the DAF equipment and system for the upgrades.
