The desired new Survey Tool solution must provide the ability to create, design, test, collect, analyze, generate results and report on survey results. This includes the ability to import datasets used to build a survey and collect results.
The survey tool is available for use in course curriculum, course feedback and collects College-wide and external opinions. The solution provides real-time status, dashboards and reporting with drilldown and filtering capabilities. The solution must import and integrate custom dataset files from College systems and export survey response datasets and reports. The solution shall integrate the exchange of data with College systems such as the Student Information System (SIS), Learning Management System (LMS), Employee System and Enterprise Reporting and Data Warehouse System (EDW). The solution must provide dashboard and reporting, analytics and metrics, account management, administration support functionality and implements a security model to enable end-user confidentiality establishing user profiles and permissions.
The Survey Tool solution is used to deliver the following College Services:
- Course Feedback
- Learner (Student) Course Feedback provides a systematic and consistent mechanism for students to share their course experiences with the College;
- Course Feedback is a College mandated policy.
- Course Curriculum
- Learners and Faculty utilize the survey solution as part of some course curriculums. Some courses require learners to use a survey tool as part of the assignment, assessment and learning requirements.
- College-wide (Enterprise) Opinions
- College (Employees, contractors, external agents) and external stakeholders collect/provide opinions and feedback including Net Promoter Score and Sentiment Analysis.
